The goal of our 3 days workshop program is to offer to our young participants (aged between 18 and 30 years old) a free access to our workshops; they will learn the keys to successfully develop their initiatives. We encourage them to implement their projects through different workshops in project management (definition of their projects, communication and fundraising strategy skills) and through meetings with speakers and professionals in this field. Our participants will therefore reconnect with their local mentors from their communities.
Our workshops are taking place in the city of São Paulo. As a major component of Brazil’s economy (representing 32% of the country’s GDP in 2012), the city of São Paulo is an extraordinary mix between populations, where all the layers of civil society are represented, and yet where important inequalities persist.
2018 Edition - Numbers
In 2018, we have organised our first event at the end of October. Our “Social Business Challenge” comprised of 3 days of workshops, pitches, and conferences, held at the University of Sao Paulo, through our partnership with the institution. Meetings with our speakers were key events for our participants who were able to pitch their ideas, their plans and projects to the team and speakers. Our workshops organised by Young Enough Ambition’s team became challenges for our participants who dare to explain their projects to the crowd and dare to confront themselves to positive critics from other participants and our team.
In order to transmit the fundamental knowledge in project management, our team prepared and organised all our workshops in specific areas : fundraising, communication and definition of their projects.
